Kiyone made her debut quite a few pieces back ([link]) and was brave enough to do so in the complete buff; since we've already seen every inch of her I decided to let her choose what she did this time around. She's a tattoo artist by trade so we decided to work in her artistic background in this one; also she decided to go solo instead of with her mate Kyra. Their relationship is fine, don't fret. Sorry guys, this girls still taken. Started as a sketch, all lines and colors done in Painter IX.5.

Request-Twisted Snake by Boneitis

Now that I finally have some free time it's back to requests and commies. This one's first, a request by a guy named Twisted Snake for his character. Here he is wrapping his tail 'round his legs and wearing a hoodie and too many belts. The shading on this one reminds me of earlier issues of "The Darkness" so I'm happy. Next up: Fenrir Kar and a very "unique" request. After that a bunch of musicians and so on.

I'm supposed to be working on requests, and I am, but they're all of guy characters and I can only do such things so long before the Royo in me screams about women and such (If you don't know who Luis Royo is look him up, you won't be saddened). Anyway it's a reprise of a character who's made two previous appearances and I think I've settled on a look for her. While working on this I got lots of helpful feedback from all sorts of people so hopefully it works. Got to get moving on other stuff though, I seriously worked on this in 20 minute intervals so frequent were my interruptions. I love her though, so cute in an off kilter sort of way. And yeah the title's her name, bite me I'm sappy sometimes. Looks like she's got some room left on that big 'ol pillow...

FCG (Feline Cow-Girl) Concept by Boneitis

After watching the amazing "Afro Samurai" I felt it very necessary to try some similar outfit designs on my own creations. Since it was a fairly new idea I pulled out my poor guinea cat Sei and set to designing her that same sort of Eastern design meets western folklore outfit. Here's the result, also of note are some more experiments with shading that nobody but me will notice. No background because this image took forever due to all the new stuff I was trying out. Edit: Forgot to shade the inner ear. D'oh!

Seibre (Colored) by Boneitis

Went with a new coloring technique on this one and I, personally, really liked the results. As a test I put it up on Sheezyart last night and it's managed to become the lowest rated thing I've ever made though. Maybe it's the lack of a true background (I just used a simple lighting effect since this was largely an experimental image). Of course I didn't get any actual feedback as to why I got a bad score so maybe some other sites can help me out in regards to this.

Made this before the last one, it's the third design for the character I named Kyra. I finally settled on a Caracal for a species reference and I think it works. For those worried that I'm becoming some sort of pin-up artist never fear; pirates are on the way.

My first try at doing multiple characters in a piece, they look nice but overall the piece is a tad dull. I think the younger one will work out well in another piece, and the guy with the funny hat will definitely be back. We'll see.

Look! It's rather lascivious! But less so than the last one. Anyway this was a request for an illustration of Shinji-Fox's character "Kristie". I think the funnest part of this illustration (aside from the tail) was deciding what to do with that unzipped region. All the way or just a little? (Har! You're a perv! Chut up.) All in all I had way too much fun with this one, obviously went with more of a Michele Light look than I normally do. Had to make it cute...or something.
